The wider media, particularly news programs, are often vocal critics of violent games. I look at the role of the media in the violent games debate, and examine some of the key cases which have led to controversy.

Academic Debate

Criticism isn't just in the media as academics and social scientists argue over the percieved link between violence and real world aggression. I look at some of the ways research is gathered and the two competing sides of the debate.
